Tonight is the premiere of Whizzbang: Stoked

Light in the Night

I was very fond of this show since it’s inception in 2006 - I look forward to it every year as a performance that is both exciting and engaging, as well as getting our community ‘in tune’ with some of the darker areas of our coal-mining history. This year brings a new video element which I’m told will tie the whole story together for the audience.

As I have been designated the official photographer for the event, you can look forward to some stunning galleries here within the next few days - the links will be here in my blog - so check back soon!

My best wishes go out to the performers and tech crew who have busted their asses for this show.

Also, I send out a warm THANK YOU to Willow Chandler - you know why.

Solstice Street Party Solstice parties… wouldn’t have had this back in ______(somewhereinthelowermainland)

Such talented, energetic and creative people here. Here are a few snaps from the street party in front of Delicado’s (hello, delicious mexican fare).

As always, click on the images for a closer look!
