Barbara-Anne Davie has recently launched into business for herself here in Nanaimo, B.C. - her area of expertise - Reflexology.
For those of you unfamiliar with this approach to treatment, it is non-invasive method of stimulating reflexes in the feet through the medium of touch, which correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body.
Barbara-Anne tells me that a Reflexology treatment promotes greater relaxation and improved circulation throughout the entire body, and that when stress is reduced the body's own natural healing processes can function more efficiently.
By some wonderful coincidence during the design of her logo, they chose an almost identical blue colour as we shot against for these portraits. If we had known ahead of time, we might have done this on purpose... but this was just a beautiful stroke of luck in this case!
