St. Patricks Day post - what better than beer?

This St. Patricks Day post comes a day late, I know... but hey, what can I say, I was out celebrating a bit last night.  =)

Driftwood has easily become one of my favourite beers, as I've noted in a past blog post.. and in particular, that White Bark variety - SO GOOD.

Jason from Driftwood sent up a few specific glasses for these beer photos, as each beer is so unique, it deserves it's own glass!  I set to work getting the perfect pour, and set an assistant to work on downing the previous beers so I could keep my head on straight as we shot all three 'core' varieties.  They also have some limited or special editions they release, like the new Brother Bart's Belgian Style Dubbel, or the super-hoppy Barley Wine that I've yet to try.

They'll be getting some 'mileage' out of these shots - quite literally - they are bound for the side of the delivery truck that they're having wrapped in full-colour vinyl very soon.

A couple shout outs here:

Jason @ Driftwood:  I've learned the proper glass can really enhance the beer - just like a glass of wine (only better, IMO).   Do I really have to give you those glasses back?  (kidding!)

Richard Hatter @ Hired Guns Creative:  No, I didn't pour out a little liquid to make your retouch more difficult!  (hahaha) - but I know that if I did - you could take care of it with down-to-the-pixel accuracy.  Your work speaks for itself - clean and precise.

I truly wish people how difficult shots like these are. Amazing! All you have to do to know how hard it is, is to try it... go on people.. I DARE YOU... they won't look like this! Nice work Master Fenzl!

Great shots! Could there be a better team than the photographic eye of Sean, the mad Photoshop skills of Richard, and the amazing brews of Jason at Driftwood?
